Lorca’s got you covered with lots of options. If you want coffee, this is definitely the place to hit up in Stamford. And, even if you want tea or another drink like their new Lorchata, they’ve got you covered. They have sandwiches, pastries, freshly made quiches by owner Leyla, and churros that you just might commit a felony for. omnomct.com
Finally…Stamford has coffee. Yep, seriously good coffee in downtown Stamford. Lordy, it took some time but its all ok now. I like espresso based coffee and unless I’ve missed something the good stuff just doesn’t exist here. Didn’t. Now does. They take it seriously, it shows. They make churros, with three dipping sauces too. Look good, yet to try. Did try some homely gluten free cakes, and shortbread biscuits. Yep, good. Small sweet things from bigger isnt always better school. Oh and a nice space too, pretty soon you wont get a seat here. Hoping for chairs outside in summer. Easy to miss, walk down Bedford St away from Stamford Mall on the Mcdonald’s side, passed the burger joint? back up.
