Great food and environment. Nick’s Pizza became my favorite place in Stamford in 2007, I love going there with friends or even in a date. Excellent food, very afordable and friendly environment. They also have special events going on from time to time, wine taste, halloween parties, Arts and Chocolate to support causes like breast cancer. I could write for another hour great things about Nick’s & Bacco but I will let you try and tell it for yourself.
More than just a pizza restaurant. We loved this place when we lived in Stamford 2.5 years ago. Came back to town for a visit and had to come back. Had the pasta putanesca. Even better than before! Delicious. Served with salad and delicious bread. Service was wonderful.
The food is excellent and the service is great . The wine tasting is so much fun. The lunch special is very good price, because it’s not a lot of money for a big portion plus salad excellent
Best thin crust Pie !!!. I love Nick’s Pizza, the crust is by far the best i’ve ever had. It’s better than colony even after its been reheated!
New lunch specials a great deal. My family has been going to Nick’s for years for their pizza,sometimes on a weekly basis. On my latest visit today I was pleasantly surprised to find an abbreviated lunch specials menu with five dishes for $4.99. That’s cheaper than McDonalds. They consist of different sandwich fillings on either foccaccia or multigrain bread and served with a side of Tuscan beans (small black beans delicately seasoned in an olive oil and vinegar dressing). I had the Portofino, a thick, meaty grilled portobello mushroom the size of a hamburger patty topped with roasted red peppers and melted smoked mozzarella. Not only was it delicious, it’s a good-sized serving, and I ended up taking half home with me. The only change I would make to the plate would be to ease up on the olive oil on the Tuscan beans: they are swimming in it, and even though it is good quality EVOO, it’s still a bit much.My dining companion had the chicken scarp, and it looked and smelled fresh and delicious. Since it’s Lent and a Friday, I could only imagine how good it tasted.It’s nice to revisit a favorite place after a long absence and find that the quality and selection of menu items are not only as good as remembered, but have even improved.
Magnifico! Baci a tutti. Fantastic thin crust pizza. I’ve been to Italy and this is as close as it gets to what I had there. The service was excellent and really friendly.
