Dried out, lackluster food. We’ve been to Picante twice. When we first went, the meats were dried out and the ingredients were so so. Thinking that we had just caught them on a bad day, we went back a second time. Again, the meats were dried out in the tacos and the ingredients didn’t really help to pull the entire flavor profiles through. The strong suit of this place, though, is the salsa bar. That’s really a cool thing. If you’re looking for an option that’s quick, this is a pretty good place to go, though we can’t vouch for it being fresh or full of flavor. omnomct.com

Great Take Out Taco Joint. Just had our first experience of Picante and enjoyed it enough to write a review. The salsa bar is definitely a bonus as you can load up on as many salsas as you want from a wide range. These came in handy as we got loads of chips which we werent expecting!! There are healthy options on the menu if you want and the guy who took our order was happy to be flexible when we wanted to do a bit of a twist on what was on the menu.The shift leader who worked there was really friendly and seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. We actually called back after eating at home to say the food was great.Im not sure i would necessarily want to sit in and eat there as there didnt seem a particularly amazing atmosphere but for take out this is perfect. I definitely want to go back again.
Loved it!!!! The food was fresh, the prices were fair..better than bar taco and slightly better than casa villa for the locals. cool atmosphere..good service. Will definitely be back again and spreading the word!
Fan. What a bright and friendly place. The menu was simple and Mexican, but with a fresh twist. The add your own ‘ salsa’ bar was a nice surprise. Best homemade tortilla chips ever. I dipped and scooped my salsa while waiting for 3 different style tacos. I was not disappointed. All 3 were delicious.
Great Place. I went for the first time and I didn’t know what to expect. There are so many Mexican places that pop up all the time. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was great, and the food was even better. I love Mexican food and I have tried many places. This place serves the freshest ingredients, they make it how you want it, and the place was very clean inside. I cannot express how extremely pleased I was. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a fresh, well made, mexican lunch or dinner.
Amazing!!!!. I am an absolute lover of Mexican food and Picante does convenient and delicious Mexican at it’s best! Everytime I have eaten at Picante my food has been perfect and totally delicious. I have brought many a friend to eat there and take their take out menus to hand out to my neighbors and people I work with. I can’t wait to go back and recommend it to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food at great prices!!! All I have to say is… you have to go check it out!!!!
