Best Pizza in town.. The pizza was amazing. Crust was perfect. Crunchy and delicious. Toppings were fantastic, italian long hots, spicy sausage and basil were mouth watering. I cant wait to go back for more.10 Aug, 2013Really really good pizza. I love the Margarita with the sauted onions. My wife loved the Westcott. Not to salty and crust was perfect. This place has become our favorite. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Love it!
The burrata bruschetta was excellent. The old world style pizza crust is probably the best I’ve had… Thin, chewy and crispy. The pizza is even crispy when reheated in the toaster oven. Had one old world margherita with sausage, it was perfect. The other was an old world chesterfield, the toppings were not good the paper thin slices of eggplant and mushroom pieces tasted like oil and the zucchini had an unexpected rosemary flavor. We also had dessert, ricotta cheese cake, was the best we ever had. We will definitely return to try the other offerings.
Love it!. Went with a party of six. Started with some apps, the calamari, the buratta (which is a must try), the crab cake, signature salad and arugula salad. The apps were really, really good. One of the pizzas we had was the Fairway which the waiter recommended. To be honest would have never ordered a pizza with grilled shrimp. It was delicious and will for sure have it again. Save room for the ricotta cheese cake!Fresh delicious food, friendly attentive staff, full bar and amazing atmosphere!!
Welcome to Shippan!. We made a reservation for a group of 12 and we were automatically impressed when we first walked in. Door service, a delightful host and our table was all ready for us to sit and order. Our waitress was sweet and very attentive to our requests. We started off with a variety of apps..which I would highly recommend the No Name Nachos (AMAZING!!). I picked the penne with spicy sausage for dinner! Seriously the best Penne Vodka I have ever tasted!! Drink menu was also fun…an overall great experience. Perfect place for any occasion! Just what Stamford needed!!
YUM!. This place is exactly what Shippan needed – with a HUGE parking lot too! Awesome vibe – good for families, twenty somethings and big groups as well. The food was great and they have fun cocktails! The penne vodka was just delicious and the ricotta cheesecake was from another planet!! We also got the burrata which came out with bruschetta on the side (amazing) and a pizza with sausage, eggplant and ricotta. I must say we were all very impressed and will definitely be returning!

Delish is all I can say! I had the buratta bruchetta with a wonderfully creammy mozzarella! The pizza was amazing! The crust was chewy and crispy, not too thin, not too thick, just right!!! the spagetti and meatballs was superb! Meatballs, just like grandma’s!! the homemade tiramisu was light & cream! We will surly be back!!
