If I ever were staying overnight in Stamford, the Hampton Inn with the Villa Italia attached to it will be where I would stay. The white cloth dining room is very open, comfortable and not very noisy when busy. The service was friendly and attentive. When we were seated, we were provide with fresh bread which was very good. We shared two entre; the eggplant rollatini pasta entre was a special request by me and the chicken Milanese was on their regular menu. Both entres were wonderful. The drink pours were generous ad so was the price for dinner.
