Don’t Believe the Critics’ Reviews!. I don’t know if the managers brought out special food for the critics or if this shows that the Courant, CTNOw and other critics are not reliable. The food is extremely overpriced and tastes frostbitten. I have been there at nights after middle school concerts and they are NOT friendly to the parents and their children. Rather, they appear to not want that kind of clientele at all. Now that I think of it, every time I have been there (breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night), the food is bad, the servers are annoyed to have to bring themselves to serve the customers, and it appears even the management is getting tired of having to deal with customers. It is about time the management moved on and let someone else bring the quality of food and service worthy not only of the high prices but the image and history of this great establishment.

The food is mediocre and the ice cream is overrated. There is better ice cream around.
Worst service ever! Very rude and inconsiderate. I brought my mother and brothers here on mothers day, BIG MISTAKE! Food isnt that great either!
Service is just awful. Went there for brunch one afternoon and was refused service on the outdoor patio. After being asked how many by someone in the kitchen, stood and waited for 10 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty dining room before becoming fed up and leaving. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Classic. Some things shouldn’t change… AC Petersen’s is one of those things.
