Great food – service sub par. We went to A’Vert Brasserie for a birthday dinner on a Sunday afternoon – it was around 3:00 and the restaurant was not croweded so we were able to get a booth.The food was great but the service was not at all what you would expect from a restaurant that would be considered high end. The sides are ordered separately from the entree. first we had to ask for bread Then our entree was served and there were no sides. We asked about them and our waiter came over and said that the order was thrown away? and that our sides would be out shortly. So we had the main meal without the sides – which were delivered about half way through our entree. So it was disappointing as service is key to making what could have been an exceptional dining experience mediocre.
A taste of Paris. Adorable little bistro and a welcome addition to WeHa. They only opened a few weeks ago so I am more forgiving of servers who are still getting their sea legs in a new restaurant. Food is on point, exactly what one should expect from a casual French brasserie or bistro. Unfortunately I think some people have the wrong stereotype idea of what French is supposed to be and expect snobby haute cuisine. Wrong. A’Vert delivers simple French comfort food with great execution.

Just open, great decor and atmosphere. Menu looks good but had steak frites and it was just ok. To much salt on steak and frites were a little limp. Looking forward to trying the lunch menu and will be back for dinner. It’s always tough those first few nights and looking forward to a better meal next time. I am sure it will be based on their other place in town. Oh ya – the prices were good.
I currently started bussing here at this beautiful brasserie. The service and food is to the upmost excellence. I would travel across state lines just to have dinner here. Mouth-watering entres and food. It’s quite sad how most restaurants are five stars yet nowhere near the quality of others. This is truly a five star restaurant. Brilliant.
