My husband and I love this place… And we had no clue it was here until we took a wrong turn driving!!! – we were hungry and stopped. It must had been late that evening , because there were only a few tables still eating, but the costumer service was so good- and waiter was very accommodating! – the good was outstanding and the atmosphere was romantic with the candles lit! – we now come back here often for lunch and dinner!!!!!
Awesome! Warm ambience, delicious meals! Great dining experience!
Good Indian restaurant in the area. The menu offers Indian, Nepali and a few Persian items too. Their aloo chutney and plain parantha are my favorites.
So Good!. Everything about this place is great. The entry way smells of oranges and incense. The wait staff is extremely pleasant. The food is amazing. They always accomodate my request that my dish be made mild and the food is always perfectly seasoned. I’ve tried a lot of Indian places and this is one of the best. It was also listed as the top vegetarian restaurant in Hartford County due to the large vegetarian menu.
Best Indian we’ve ever had. And the outside looks old but the decor inside is beautiful and modern. Loved the mango lassi the vegetable samosa and the chicken korea. Really really impressed.
Very enjoyable. We arrived on a Sunday and evening and were surprised to find the business fairly busy. We were greeted and shown a booth near the door, but I requested one in the back. Menus, water and papadum were delivered in short order, but then a group of 6 adults with 6 children arrived and service went downhill quickly. It was awhile before our orders were taken as the wait staff catered to the large group. We ordered Kathandu pot stickers (vegetarian) which took an awful long time to arrive, but were very good. For entrees we selected Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Saag which came with a large portion of plain basmati rice. One word of caution, we ordered a medium spice level and turned out to be hotter than expected. Each was very good with a complex flavor from the spices used. The meat in each dish was tender, though we only found 3 pieces of chicken in the saag. Overall, the meal was better than average. Unfortunately my camera batteries decided to die just before our meal was served.
Sunday buffet are budget friendly and great way to try all the food they have to offer. I love this place and it is a great mix of classic Indian food as well as Indo-Chinese cuisines.
