  Service is terrible here. Its started off fine our server was friendly and personable, but when the food came out my Philly Cheese steak was cold. When she finally got to the table to see how our food was (15 minutes later) she said well you let it sit silly. No In fact I didnt, I ate it right away and it was still cold. The food came out so fast I even made a comment about how too fast it was. She said well the way we cook the phillys… theyre already cooked we just kinda heat them up, thats how Philly cheese steaks are. Ok no? She continued to argue with me about how Im unaware of how food is served at restaurants (Ive worked at several). So she said she cant do anything because too many drunk girls come in and try to remove food from their bill. Mind you I just got off work, so not intoxicated at all. She then asked me if I wanted to take the food with me, I said no not at all, can I have restaurant credit or get another item to take home? And she continued to tell me no, no, and no and that Im stuck with either throwing out the food and paying for it, or paying for it. I picked pieces of the meat off of it when I started eating it so there wasnt even a dent in the food or fries AT ALL. She told me to come in at 9am and speak to the owner and tell him my issue- which I plan to do, with the gross undercooked philly in its box

  I’d like to start out with saying I would not recommend this restaurant. Ordered the burger deluxe. The patty was clearly low grade frozen beef sold in bulk. Presentation was awful. Omelette was visually unappetizing and lacked any substantial flavor. Service was quick but the waitress was impatient and invasive, asking us for orders in two minute intervals.

  Out all night?. Well either staert your day or end your night at this spot. Good diner food and 24 hours. Dishes have medicinal properties in the post drinking stage of your night.

  Variable–and that is not good. It was a real improvement when smoking was banned here in CT. This place used to feel like a way station for both first and second-hand smoke. Now the air is clear. The best thing about this place is the service. Generally fast and polite, these folks care about you. Too bad the kitchen seems average at best. I have had some average meals here, but have, as often been VERY disappointed. Most recently I asked for an omelet and asked what I could have instead of the toast and potatoes… the waitress said she could give me sliced tomatoes like in the pic on the menu. I said fine… I also asked for a refill on my iced tea. The omelet is really scrambled eggs with the stuff mixed in (much drier than a filled omelet) and I got billed an extra 75 cents for the tomatoes and for EACH iced tea (which has not happened at other meals). Past disappointing. Oh–I am from Long Island… and there the desserts in diners are amazing. The cakes and pies here LOOK great; but are disappointing as well. I will not be back. If you are hungry and have a full wallet, you can roll the dice here. The meals can be OK, but be prepared to be underwhelmed. The place is clean and family friendly. Ah well… can’t all be raves.Have been back with a friend who is a regular. Service still great, food still variable. Overdone eggs and bacon, too dry toast for club sandwiches, spoiled (and I mean SPOILED, as in call the Health Dept) cole slaw and mediocre fries (fairly tasteless). I go for the friend, not the food.
