Double Shot Cinnamon Cappuccino and Rustic Apple Crostata. My favorite pair 18 Mar, 2015Loveeeeee this place. I’ve ditched Starbucks for it. I always get a double shot cinnamon cappuccino, you can taste the quality, and i just love that each drink has latte art . My favorite pastry is the rustic crustata, it’s a perfect blend of crispy, flaky, sweet, apple-y deliciousness. (I know that’s not a word) The egg-wich was okay, but what really made me love this place was their Seasonal grilled cheese, the Melville. It’s all on toasted ciabatta, with mystic cheese co, apricot jam, baby arugula , and balsamic reduction. Let me tell you this, it sounds weird, but the way the flavors dance together in this sandwich, lets just say I’ve had it back to back this week. Lol I would totally recommend Hartford Baking Co. It beats all the other coffee/ bakeries out. The only downside is it’s not open all day, & sometimes you can’t find a seat, but it’s totally worth to take to go.

Nothing Special and Expensive. 2 Danish and nothing to drink was almost $13. I tried to support this small local bakery. I found the product ordinary and the cost extraordinary. The cases were limited in selection. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Delicious baked goods. We had an expiring SaveNowCT coupon so we decided to see how far our $12 could go. We saw a few pre-made sandwiches on a what appeared to be a baguettes and assumed our tuna sandwich to go would also be on the same type of roll. Unfortunately it was on soft bread. The tuna was just okay with nothing added but mayo plus a few slices of cucumber and some lettuce. There was an off taste perhaps attributable to the cucumber. We also purchased 2 scones and a baguette. The baguette was delicious, but a bit too crusty in my wife’s opinion. There were only 2 types of scones offered, ginger and raisin. We opted for the latter. Though on the small size, they were both delicious. I would return for the bread and scones.
