Horrible food and horrible treatment by the manager who hung up on the phone as I expressed my concerns about the food. I ordered a meal to share with my 2 year old son. My order was steak hibachi well done with extra rice and no mushrooms. I also asked for extra teriyaki sauce since I have eaten here before and don’t like the taste of the food unless it is smothered in teriyaki. I always go to Yume in Unionville which is the hibachi restaurant I prefer. However, it was rush hour and so I settled on going to Ichiro knowing their food is of lesser quality seeing that I was wanting to avoid horrible traffic on rt 4 getting to Yume. I was traveling with my infant and toddler who both fell asleep and so I called asking the hostess to bring the food out to my car. She was kind enough to bring it out to my car and I drove off without checking seeing I double parked in a bus pick up zone. ( I have nothing against the hostess as she was very sweet and professional and went out of her way to help me out, it’s the manager I was disappointed in). Once getting home 35 minutes away (mind you during rush hour traffic) I realized my order did not include extra rice(I was not charged for this either so couldn’t be too upset, maybe a misunderstanding on the phone) did not include the extra teriyaki sauce as I asked for ( I could get past this one and try to drench in the other sauces they gave), the soup had mushrooms in even though I asked for my meal without mushrooms ( no big deal, I can pull it out, maybe a misunderstanding on the phone) and lastly the one that was my main concern, meat was not well done as I asked for a well done meal knowing I would be sharing with my 2 year old son. I spoke to the manager who called me a liar and said he spoke to the chef who made my order right. I offered to send him picture and videos, which he agreed to. Instead of leaving it like that and waiting to see my pictures, he continued to call me a liar and then hung up on me after I told him he was unprofessional and should not call a paying customer a liar. I sent him a video of the bloody meat and attached you can see how he responded and decide for yourself if you want to dine here. By the way, my video was literally of me squeezing blood out of the meat. The conversation goes on, but it’s only allowing me to post 10 pics on here.

Best Japanese in Center. Such a long time since i had real sushi, so fresh and sweet taste! Wow, recalled old time in Japan. Smiley servers, warm atmosphere, good place indeed!20 Jul, 2012Good food!. Finally found one that makes real sushi! They deliver to my door, love it!
