Dropped by here on a Tues night and ordered the eggplant fries and Hawaiian pie minus the roasted peppers. Let’s start by saying those eggplant fries r a new addiction of mine and the pizza was pretty good. Dough was fresh and sauce had good flavor but too much. I ran a pizza shop for 7 yrs so I’m a bit picky but have nothing bad to say about the food or Jordan our server. Had a great time talking with him. I will be back
I like their other places, but not this one.. I was excited, now a while ago, when I heard that a Joey’s was coming to town. I went there the month they opened and ordered take out for a bunch of people. The place was not busy but it took a while, and they got both pizza orders wrong. The second time I went with friends (I figured that the first month they were working out the kinks). and it was busy, but we waited, though once we were seated, after half an hour, we just left. The third time, friends really wanted to go and we were heading to a concert after and told our server. We did order, and the meals came in stages, and mine was wrong again. The food was OK, nothing terrible or wonderful, but SUCH bad service that I will not ever go again.
My husband and stumbled upon Joeys pizza pie recently and were impressed by the quality of the food and pleasant family atmosphere. Our service was very friendly and efficient. The pizza we ordered was a delicious thin crust onion pizza and the salad we chose was spinach with warm goat cheese, ground pistachios, nuts, honey glaze and a touch of raspberry dressing. The whole meal was absolutely wonderful. We noticed families of all ages enjoying a night out. Oh, and the house wines were quite tasty. Unfortunately we were too stuffed to eat dessert but next time … I highly recommend this gem of a place.
