I am copying and pasting off of my google review to WARN YOU!!!!!! I have read the reviews and I am very surprised at what I read. I am Mexican so I know good cuisine when I see it. I came here for the first time seeing the pictures on the web, of the inside made me think it was authentic. This has to be the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered Tacos. Let me get started with the tortilla. It was so thin and flimsy that as soon as I picked it up there was holes forming. After I put the salsa on, the tortilla actually fell apart because of how watered down the salsa was. Every Mexican Restaurant that I have ever been to puts two tortillas per taco for this exact reason. Seeing how flimsy and thin these were was enraging. Then the size of the taco. The size is as big as your palm. Ridicules for 2.50 the profit was clearly 2.25 cents. The meat was bearable with the Asada being a great choice. I will not be coming back. If you do not believe anything that I say. Just order one Taco.

I always love going to Los Adobes. The service is always super friendly, attentive and welcoming. I usually stick to my favorites, tamale and a taco ($3 and $2.50.. not too shabby.) However I’ve been branching out, trying new things on the menu – wow – and everything I’ve tried so far has been very tasty and filling. So yummy.

Horrible food. This food is authentic but horrible executed and over priced. By far, the worst guacamole and the tacos were bad. Had to return the food as the meat was overcooked. I think anywhere is better.

Best Value Best Service. Los Adobes is a traditional mexican taqueria, established in good faith to restore grace to humankind. The tacos come in several varieties, pollo, chorizo, carne asada, to name a few. All of which impose a euphoria on the taste buds. Delicious. Quesadillas enrich the human experience, give meaning where before there was none. The server is heavenly and beautiful, her offerings of cervezas are impossible to decline. The dinner options are strange, beyond my deepest comprehension, I have not braved this portion of the menu. Beware the red sauce, it is delicious with a kick. The green sauce, what can I say about the green sauce that hasn’t already been said about Penelope Cruz? Los Adobes, the ultimate value option in West Hartford, made me a man of God once again.

Great little spot. I regularly go to Adobes with my buddies almost every Friday for dinner. The service is very friendly and the food is good as long as you stick to the basics. I usually get a variety of tacos which are delicious. The barritos and quesadillas are good too, just sprinkle some of the green or red sauce on for flavor. I would not recommend any of the other items on the menu however.

Fair. We had a SaveNowCt that was set to expire in the next several days so we decided to have lunch at this small Mexican restaurant. I was surprised that there wasn’t a separate lunch menu which may explain why there was only one other customer on this Friday afternoon. We did not receive chips and salsa though green and spicy red salsa were brought to the table with our meals. My wife chose a beef burrito which was very large, but bland and mostly comprised of shredded iceberg lettuce and rice. The little beef used was very bland. I chose 3 street tacos (chorizo, carnitas and al pastor. Only a single tortilla is used rather than the traditional 2. The tacos were tasty, but the chorizo was the best by far. Overall our meal was just okay so I am not in a rush to return.

Amazing food. Little hole in the wall, and those are always the best. Friendly service. Just go, there will be no regrets.
