Fav Chinese restaurant in CTThe wait is somewhat long if you go during peak hours. The staff is friendly. Dishes are about $12-15 and feed one person heartily and two in a non-gluttonous way. We ordered Chicken fried rice, Dim sums ,Lo mein and one chicken satay. Food was good. The server was courteous and he took good care of us. But please make some space bw tables. Tables are so close together that you feel like you are eating with the people at the table next to you.It is just at the entrance of Farmington mall so not to wondering in the mall. Very nice ambiance.

And we waited, and waited and …. We visited last night after receiving coupons good for a free lettuce wrap. There was a short wait before we were seated at a booth approximately 15 feet from the kitchen. It took a long time for our server to appear with menus and then he disappeared before finally take our orders of chicken lettuce wraps. After another long delay he reappeared and advised us the kitchen was out of chicken lettuce wraps. I asked what they were going to substitute and he said tofu lettuce wraps. Fine, we each ordered one each plus our entrees. We waited and before he reappeared and advised us that the kitchen was now out of tofu lettuce wraps, but we could each order any other appetizer. Long wait before he returned with a tray of sauces. At this point I asked for silverware. Long wait before our salt & pepper calamari over dried noodles plus an order of dynamite shrimp finally were delivered to the table. The calamari was almost cold and resemble thin french fries rather than squid. The shrimp served in a large martini glass spicy and very good. Long wait. Table cleared.Wait some more – our Singapore noodles and spicy chicken were delivered. Both dishes were below average tasting.Finished dinner and waited for our check. 1 hour and 45 minutes from arrival we walked out of the restaurant.
Long wait and surprisingly bad cooking quality. Note: This review applies to this PF Chang’s location only! Not to the chain restaurants. Been there 3 times when they first opened. First time I waited for at 2 hours, got sea bass and it was way overcooked and burned. My second time there was for a friend’s birthday, got stir fry beef and it was undercooked! The beef was wasn’t sliced against the grain so it was not tender. My third time there was my last try, my friend from Szechuan ordered Dan Dan Noodles (a spicy noodle dish from Szechuan) and it was too dry. I was disappointed. I’ve heard great reviews about PF Chang’s from friends who have tried other locations (Boston, Orlando, Las Vegas), I think it’s just this one that isn’t operating well.
Tasty although a little expensive. Large menu selection and friendly, attentive service.
The food was good, very fancy presentation for pretty ordinairy Chinese food. Was it worth the money? Maybe not…. The service was ok at best very friendly but very SLOW… I was satisfied when I left, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.
