Customer service was poor, their soup was alright but I’ve had better. they didn’t give me enough noodles I was still hungry after I left. Thumbs down for that.
Best pho in area. Delicious! Other dishes I’ve tried also fresh, well prepared, and tasty. They’re often busy, but it’s a big place so never have waited too long for table. They won’t bring your check unless you ask for it.

Good Vietnamese Food!. Whenever Mom and I do our shopping at A Dong (Asian supermarket right next door) we always stop in for some pho at Pho Boston. This place seriously does some kick ass pho and at a decent price too. I haven’t really tried much else there, but I love their egg rolls, beef teriyaki, and their chicken chowfun (which tastes a lot like thai pad se eww). Their bubble teas are also the bomb. I really can’t say enough about this place. We love it! Try it, I think you will too!
My grandson loves this place!. He’s thirteen and simply loves the pho. Orders the extra large bowl every time we go there. I have tried most things on the menu and have to admit I liked most of them. Did not car for the catfish pho because it was to bony. Personally found the Vietnamese coffee to strong but my husband loves it. I am partial to beef pho and the fruity slushy drinks they serve. Great prices and great food it’s a great combo!
One of the Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Connecticut. My wife and I lived just down the street from Pho Boston for two years in 1999-2001 and we’ve been back many times since. This place is not to be missed. The Pho– a hearty beef soup full of sliced beef, vegetables, noodles and garnished with bean sprouts and basil is sublime–and served in portions much bigger than you would imagine that your stomach could hold. Squeeze in a bit of Sriracha (Vietnamese hot sauce) for good measure. Everything else is good too, especially the vermicelli dishes and of course the spring rolls–my recommendation is the uncooked ones with the chewy rice paper wrapper redolent of mint and basil. The service is quiet and efficient (my impression has always been that many of the staff speak little English). Although located in a rather disreputable looking strip mall, the atmosphere is impressive because the restaurant occupies a large space which has not been divided. It is a huge, airy room, full of tables and curiously refreshing for it’s openness. I believe that the last time I was there it was BYOB (this may have since changed) and there is a liquor store two or three doors down. After dinner do not miss the opportunity to visit the A Dong Asian Grocery next door. This is easily the best and largest Asian market in Connecticut and rivals anything I have seen in NYC. The fish and seafood alone are worth a trip as is the produce department and the whole five spice roasted ducks. I could go on and on. Pho Boston: highly recommended.
Eaten at many Vietnamese resteraunts. By far the best. Get number 2 and 72
