Great dinner with great food. The atmosphere was good. Excellent Italian waiter explained everything. Gluten free pasta too! Would definitely go again!!!
Only a 4.5 rating due to being a loud restaurant. Meat and cheese board was fantastic, great quality stuff! Burrata was delicious and the cherry filled Arancini was different, yet very tasty! Most importantly, they had Cacio e Pepe on the menu and it was delicious, as was the Bucatini! Can’t wait to be back!!!!
Fabulous Italian food. Their home made pasta is incredible. I’ve had the Garganelli and the Ravioli. Sometimes we sit in the bar and nibble on their Brussel sprouts over a few glasses of wine. It can get very busy in here… But it’s worth it. Great food!
Exceptional dining experience. Thanks to Groupon, we were introduced to this northern Italian restaurant during a recent lunch. We were given a choice of being seated in the front or in the back. We chose the latter and I noticed on good size deck in the back which would be perfect on a warm spring day. We were brought menus and some warm crusty bread along with olive oil delicious. I ordered an arugula salad and our waiter immediately asked if we wanted to share. It was good that he did because the portion size was perfect. Lightly dressed and topped with shaved Parmesan simple perfection. My wife ordered the tagliatelle with mushrooms, asparagus and very tender veal. I requested the Pettine lightly seared scallops, wild mushrooms, shaved asparagus and the creamiest polenta I have ever experienced. Both dishes were perfect as was the luncheon size portions. We closed out the meal with a shared La Bomba that was devine. Though very busy, our server (Conor?) was exceptional. Though we dine out frequently, this proved to be one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while.
Great food but where’s the beef!! I know it has a European identity and they emphasize quality over quantity but a little more food would be perfect.
Good food, small menu. Food is good, there’s just a limited selection. On the expensive side, but food was to that quality
Treva was one of many restaurants recommend by my local colleagues. We sat in the bar and had a delightful dinner. The service was attentive and upbeat without feeling insincere. We ordered the daily special ravioli which was tender and flavorful. The Mare dish also received high compliments. The steamed mussels were delicately bathed in a garlic wine sauce-classic and well done. Dessert is a name that escapes me but appeared to have a honey flavored pudding and gelato with fresh strawberries. Hard to describe but it disappeared very quickly as it appealed to my sweet tooth. House cab was a good value for the price. We would definitely go again. Best dinner in the Hartford area in my frequent travels.
