Disappointed vegans. What a disappointment. We frequently enjoy the sister diner the Shoreline Diner which has the same menu. We ate once at Georgie’s a few years ago and wanted to bring our vegan friends cuz the esthetic is unique. What a mistake. The service was horrible. The appetizer, my favorite hummus plate, took forever an pretty much came with the meal, was runny, watery and the pita was stale. The lentil meat balls were raw and mushy. These usually delicious meatballS fell apart and the lentils were rock hard. I ordered the vegan Reuben and it was a wet soggy pile of mush which I sent back. The next Reuben was the same. Wet bread and soggy wet tempeh. I didn’t eat it and the waitress asked if I wanted it wrapped. When I said no she just left it sitting there without questioning if something was wrong. The Mediterranean wrap was ok, but lackluster. Sweet potato fries were soggy. Took forever to get the check as the wait staff sat and chatted at a table closeby. What a disappointment and waste of money. Embaressed I brought friends here. I will NEVER COME BACK OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Worth the detour off 95 past fast food hell. Great vegan and gourmet touches to diner staples in a refurbed silver diner car.

Small but cute classic diner with a surprisingly good vegan selection, saved our trip to CT! Plus yummy vegan chocolate cake. Friendly service and child friendly. Wish I lived near Georgie’s Diner!
