Terrible food. My husband and I gone to Shuckers Pier 13 for many years. We decided to go there Saturday night for dinner. It was probably the worse food I was ever served there. The flounder was over cooked and tasteless. The salad was limp and stale. We ordered wine and it came in a small glass one half full. My husband ordered the Oysters and the roasted vegetable and it was burnt to a crisp. We will not be returning to Shuckers. It is such a shame as it was a good place to eat but now I would not recommend it to anyone.

That was after a 30 minute wait after our salad. When food is served cold, it is because it has not been picked up while it is still hot. I use to like this place… no more…
Food was cold and poorly presented. Service was perfunctory. Physical rooms were worn, dirty, and in need of remodeling investment. If you own it, you need to maintain it.
What a waste of money!!!. The food was absolutely gross. My husband and I went there for dinner and we were so disappointed. The waitress took more than 10 minutes to come over to greet us and the restaurant was not busy. I wish we had left then. The portions were small (8 pieces of ravioli for $14.95). The food was extremely bland…no flavor whatsoever! We paid $8 for a slice of carrot cake that was not very good. Neither of us finished our meals. The waitress asked us to let her throw them out instead of us taking them home and throwing them out. Never again will we go there. I felt horrible for taking husband there. That dinning experience ruined our night. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the waitress then left. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO THERE.
I used to love the food at Shucker’s, but the quality seems to have slipped over the years. They used to have the BEST fried shrimp ever, but now it seems to be frozen. Same for the flounder sandwich. The panko breading is so heavy that it hurts to eat it.
Worst place EVER. My boyfriend took me here for valentines day last year and we will never go back again. For starters instead of putting us at a decent table, they sat us at the bar and gave us old stale popcorn to snack on while we waited. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for a waitress to come and greet us. I ordered a seafood ravioli and it was awful.By the time it came out , again almost 20-30 minutes later, it was cold and hard. Never again.
They HAD great food about ten years ago. The last time I was there the food was over fried and rubbery. Our waiter was horrible and couldn’t get us out fast enough. My parents were there in December and the flounder portion was tiny. My mom ordered tuna rare and it was well done. They tried to send it back but the waiter disappeared. That was the last time anyone in my family will go there.
