As a Marylander that travels to the eastern shore a lot, figured we try it. Kitschy decor and friendly staff, but it all stops there. Extremely overpriced. Everything is fried or steamed, and the latter is sub-par at best. Wouldn’t return for more. Sorry.
Save your money, pick up some Mrs Pauls @ Acme vice paying for it to be served to you @ boondocks. We had a party of 10, not only did they screw up the order and only brought us out 9 meals, they were serving two obviously different crab cakes on their dinners, two dinners came looking like nice lump crab cakes, the other two looked like ground up fish meal. When I brought it up to the owner, she was very snotty and didn’t want to resolve the issue saying ‘We are trying different crab cakes’ and left it at that. You don’t serve 1 party two different products especially after screwing up the order originally. They also advertise a cash discount.. We never got it. We used to go to boondocks several times a year.. But the last bad experience was too much to handle. Leave Boondocks out in the boondock
