Hit or miss lately. My oysters were good but the dozen clams I ordered were way over cooked. We sat on the deck which was very peaceful. I will give this place one more try.
Bad Service BY THE OWNER!!!. I had heard bad things about the attitude of the owners, but I was willing to give it a try if the food was good. My son ordered the beer battered shrimp basket, my fiance ordered the clam strip basket, and I ordered the crab cake sandwich with a cup of shrimp bisque. The soup came out more like pudding…it tasted like flour, cream and shrimp, but was edible. The fried baskets looked and tasted very good. My sandwich was another story all together. The roll came out cold…a simple toasting could have made all the difference. The crab cake itself was very mushy and tasted bland. The waitress asked what was wrong, so I told her. Another person came out, argued with me about the dry bread, grabbed the plate out from in front of me (my fork was still in the crab cake) and left. It wasn’t until 10 minutes later that the waitress came back and asked if I would like something else. We asked who it was that took my plate away…THE OWNER!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE….will never go there again.
