Best in Delaware. Piazza Mia has excellent food made from scratch and cooked to order unlike the chain restaurants. The best happy hour deals around on both food and beverages. The owner is hands on in kitchen, bar and dining room. I’m a CIA grad and love this place!Jim CIA 1979
Delicioso!. I’ve been here a couple of times so far and I absolutely love it! The stuffed mushrooms are SO good I had to order them again, and the tortellini was mouth-wateringly delicious. I loved the scallops with risotto – perfectly moist on the inside and lightly seared on the outside. And the lemoncello cake was TO DIE FOR!!!! Great coffee too! Really nice decor that reminds me of my trip to Italy and friendly service. I’ll be back! I can’t wait to try the spaghetti and meatballs which I was eyeing at the table next to me!
I won’t sugar coat this, the quality is that if a rushed kitchen not tasting their food. My eggplant was a mushy mess, the cappuccino was not right and my stomach is trying to pass it through as quickly as possible. I don’t think the food was fresh, probably frozen. Awesome decor, disappointing food.
So-so. Regular fare. Nothing special. Would like to taste adventurous Italian food, also maybe northern Italian, something different and more upscale. Nothing like that in Dover area.
Great atmosphere and a nice decor. The service was decent and the food was reasonably priced. The drink menu was fairly extensive as well and there were a fair amount if wines to choose from. My wife got a pizza which she enjoyed (although she found it to be just a bit greasier than expected) and I had the rigatoni al forno which was excellent. Cheesecake for desert was good as well. A 40-50$ dinner for a couple and a very nice date night. Highly recommend.05 Jan, 2013Great atmosphere and a nice decor. The service was decent and the good was reasonably priced. I had spaghetti and meatballs last night and the meatballs were mushy and the sauce To think and Bernt Was not very good
Mussels are good but reheated from frozen . Calamari better than most. Mahi over cooked lacked flavor, somewhat greasy. Seared scallops small but perfect with an excellent rissoto.
