GREAT Italian & seafood dishes GOOD pizza. My husband and I have been to Caruso’s many times over the years & we have generally enjoyed our meals. The pizza is a good NY style pizza. The crust is crispy, but soft enough to fold. The sauce and cheese are good & the slices are decent size. We like to take advantage of the Monday large cheese pizza for $9.99 deal. It is a nice easy meal to pick up & go. Caruso’s is a pizzeria, but magically transforms into a nice Italian dining room during the dinner hours.We went here last Valentine’s for a nice Italian dinner. My husband ordered one the dinner specials. It had manicotti topped with crab meat, baby shrimp, shrimp, scallops and a lobster tail. I got the chicken parmigiana. Both meals were served with bread and salads (or substitute soup). We also got an order of mozzarella sticks. Everthing was really good with the exception of the side pasta. I just don’t care for their spaghetti noodles. I think they might be homemade. But my husband loved the minestrone soup and his seafood special. He is still raving about it MONTHS later! My chicken parmigiana was GOOD too…not the worst, but not the best I have ever had. The desserts are pretty good too. They import their cheesecake, cannoli & tiramisu from NY.Overall, Caruso’s is a nice place to grab a pizza or have a nice sit down dinner. The food is overall pretty good. The service is fast and SUPER friendly. And the prices are decent.
