OMG had absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had at this restaurant food horrendous horrendous and service equally horrendous I would never recommend this. It took 10 minutes to get a glass of water when the place only had four other tables then we placed her order finally got a bowl of soup which I assume is already prepared and it was terrible the waitress never came back to check on us and I said there was a bowl of soup at my table for 15 to 20 minutes so I could send it back she never came so finally my companion ate the soup. Then after at least half hour you got her crab cake sandwiches the bread was so still I couldn’t even cut it so we Center sandwiches back and after 10 minutes they came back with new roles but the cook had never given us new fries they were cold as Stone I asked the waitress and she’s like oh no he didn’t she did offer and did get us fresh french fries but my water glass was empty she never once offered to fill it. The crab cake sandwich was horrible absolutely horrible it was an expensive lunch terrible food terrible service the only quality it has it has a nice atmosphere.
Great yummy comfort food. Quiet enchanting atmosphere in a home that was built in the 1600’s. Service staff wear period wear and are always quite friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the beers. My favorite appetizer is the Crab Dip. It’s more of like a Crab Bisque, but it served in a delcious flaky bread bowl and the flavor and creaminess of the sauce is delicious. It comes with chunks of bread and veggies, and we end up eating the whole bread bowl just to get in all that ceamy goodness.
