My daughter and I stopped by for Happy Hour and enjoyed the bartenders congeniality as well as a good cocktail! However, the food was not good even though it was Happy Hour prices.
The ambience is cosy and intimate. I have been to N’Orleans multiple times and found the food was genuine and kicked up a notch. A good selection of draft beer to douse the taste buds. The service was good. I keep going back to try and work my way through the menu though the oysters poboy sandwich and the voodoo chicken are perennial favorites which I recommend depending if you want the mild or kicked up end of the spice spectrum.

Great Cajun!. I have eaten here 4-5 times and it has consistently been great. A small eatery overflowing with Orleanian touches. The gumbo rocks and the jambalaya is better than most! A must try… But it gets packed quickly.
Wrong meal. This was our 2nd time at Nora Lee’s.My husband ordered a seafood meal for $26.95 it took about a 1/2 hour and they brought out the wrong meal.They brought him a chicken meatloaf combo.The waitress offered to make the correct meal but we didn’t want to wait a half hour more.She said she heard it wrong and said she was sorry.They did nothing about it .They are very expensive for what you get.A rum and coke is $8.00 really??? My crab cakes were good.Not sure if I will go again.
Just left Nora Lees and I can’t say enough good things. Food was beyond excellent. From appetisers to dessert not one bad thing to say. The price was beyond reasonable for the portions and quality. You have a repeat customer.
Tonights the night I try Nora’s. I purchased a groupon from the internet and my sister and I will be going tonightfor our first time..I heard nothing but good things, I hope it meets my expectation..I will keep ya posted
