I skipped out on a check???. We frequent this restaurant and always sit at the locals bar area. Anyone who knows us, knows that we would NEVER skip out on a check. To the contrary, we are 25% tippers. Yesterday, we went for breakfast as we had not been for a few months. We were rudely told by our waitress Kristen that we had skipped out on a check. No details, just rather rude and public. We will not be going back again.
Good Diner food – great sandwiches. The breakfasts are very good although I am not sure they justify the hour plus wait that is typical on summer mornings. That is not much of an insult because I do not recall ever having a breakfast that would be worth that wait. The sandwiches served at lunch (and take-out) are large and very good.
The food is very good, but it’s VERY LOUD and if you want to have a conversation it’s literally impossible bc of the noise. The tables are so close it makes it hard for the waiters/waitresses to move around without bumping into you a few times. I’d rate the food a 9 but the environment and facility itself I’d rate a 2.22 Aug, 2010Fast service, quick seating. We actually ordered breakfast, the chip beef was good and my husband said the pancakes, sausage and bacon was good. Only thing I’d recommend is switching syrup, or offer more then one. I’d recommend Log Cabin:-) it taste so much better with homemade pancakes.. Other then that 5 STARS!!!

Solid breakfast choice just beyond the traffic circle (otherwise known as a rotary). Good eggs and bacon and toast-Joe enjoyed his Benedict with lump crab. It’s a diner, people!!
The food was cold and the service was poor. Maybe it was just an off day.
