Martha from Maryland. DiFebo’s was recommended by Rehoboth Guest House Staff who said it was fabulous, and they were right! The mushroom and truffle ravioli with rose sauce, bacon and sun dried tomatoes was exquisite. They made a simple, but not on the menu, spaghetti dish for my friend who is Italian. She loved it. Dessert was to die for. Service was attentive without being overbearing and food arrived without a long wait. So good to have an elegant Italian restaurant in such a great resort town!
Tony from Lewes. Knowing they opened a week earlier, we took a chance and brought visiting relatives with us. Fortunately, we had reservations for 6 people at 7pm on Friday and were seated promptly. It was busy. We were all pleased with our meals (veal chop, mahi mahi, shrimp risotto, mussels and filet mignon). Service was good for a new establishment and staff. It was a little noisy. Will definitely go back.
Not a pleasant evening!. Was expecting much more from the reviews. What we got was a long wait to be served, out,of,the wine we ordered, the wrong pasta with the shrimp Capallini dish, very loud noise and very slow service. The two glaring errors were an appetizer called pork bellies with three pieces of pork andthe rest gnocchi. Now we do not care for gnocchi and would not have ordered their special if we were told of this. We weren’t! Then, as we finally sid get the appetizer, they immediately brought our entries asking where we ready yet? Not wanting to eat cold food and not liking the gnocchi, we took the meals. One was the very last order of one of their main Items! The other had the wrong pasta, penne for capallini? Not even close! How does one run out of pasta in an Italian restaurant? We hope things improve the next time we come. The noise level was deafening! I had to literally shout to be heard across the small table. Hoping for much improvement!
