  Not great Pizza. The pizza is passable but certainly not great. I would say it is below average. The crust is overly powdered, there is not much cheese and the sauce is sweet without much tomato or spice. Some frozen pizzas are better. I actually eat there quite often because it is hard to escape on the beach, there are not a lot of other pizza restaurants on the boardwalk where you can sit indoors and have a beer, and my kids like it. I find it tolerable but not much more.

  Worth the 643 miles to get here!. At the beach for 6 days, one of our guests had Grotto’s at least once each of those. We all enjoy the unique taste of this pizza, but some people are absolute fanatics! I have to admit there is something about it that our family loves. I have never met anyone who doesn’t like it and probably wouldn’t hang out with anyone who didn’t! They still deliver by the way, which is really helpful when you can’t park or even navigate your way walking through the crowds on the sidewalk.

  The previous reviews must be on payroll…. This is by far the worst pizza in rehoboth. Grotto’s has become a corporate pizza chain that could care less what the pizza tastes like. I’ve traveled the eastern shore and have had pizza in every state I’ve stopped. Grottos has by far been the worst pizza I’ve ever tasted, and I find it amazing that there are not one but three within a block of each other in Rehoboth, this is definitely a company that prays on tourists.I suggest skipping over this wanna be pizza hut and heading over to the other places in town that actually offer some unique flavors, like Louies right on the ocean block also, Nicolas that has a fat free dough and is more of an Italian eatery with pasta dishes on the menu as well as hot dogs, or Casa DiLeo that has classic New York style pizza. Bottom line, miicrowave pizza at 7/11 is better than grottos.

  Best in the World. I have traveled everywhere and when people tell their pizza place is soooo good I just laugh. Most places are nothing special – dough, sauce, cheese. There is nothing anywhere like Grotto, hands down. The differences are everywhere. The perfectly crispy crust is from their custom designed oven. They put the cheese on next and the sauce on the top so that the toppings don’t slide off. (Go figure!) The cheese is a blend of two agings of the same brand. Again, go figure. Grotto is heaven.

  YUMMY pizza, GREAT location. I LOVE this Grotto Pizza location. All of them serve up the same quality pizza, but I like this one since it is at the far end of the boardwalk (away from Funland and the Avenue). Each & every time we have visited here, we have had good service and great pizza. The small pizza is kind of small–so order a large. It is covered in a large amount of sweet tomato sauce and several rings of cheese—traditional Grotto ring fashion. Definately my favorite pizza at the beach right now! Also, the breadsticks are pretty good too. This restaurant is a MUST for me whenever I’m in town. I recommend it for just about anyone.

  Best pizza ever! Haven’t had better in all my life.great pizza with great pricing. Their wings are also good I had buffalo. Over all DELICIOUS
