A Favorite!. One of my favorite restaurants in Rehoboth Beach. Great Food, good service, friendly people, and nice atmosphere. Really enjoy eating at the bar. Have met so many friendly people there. One thing I really like is that many items on the menu have smaller portions for a lower price. Week day specials are great. Never had a bad experience at Mixx.
Best Martinis in Town!!. Went to the bar to have some martinis and ended up having dinner as well. The food was excellent and so was the staff. Will definitely be back!!
Festive Bistro. Mixx was suggested to me and my wife by the concierge of my hotel and mentioned it was a small, cozy restaurant that sometimes got a bit loud because of it’s popularity. He said it was more of a date place earlier and later in the evenings when not as crowded. We went at 9 and had a drink at the bar and talked to Ginger who made a mean dirty martini and a mojito my wife loved. We had the rockfish and seafood pasta…both were great. Service was prompt and friendly without being intrusive. It was a good choice.
Great Food and Drinks. I had a recent dinner at Mixx. The dinner started with great drinks. I was going to just get apps but after enjoying them I decided to go ahead and eat dinner there, rather than going to a restaurant that was close by that I had eaten at before. I was glad I made the decision because the food was innovative and tasted great. I got the banana and chocolate bread pudding for dessert which was AWESOME. The host made me feel welcomed and the waiter told me that there would be a new entree menu and dessert menu this summer. I asked about the desserts and the server said that the chef was thinking of making a peanut butter POP dessert this summer ( a popcicle of frozen peanut butter dipped in cake batter, fried and topped with fudge and powdered sugar). Now that is a reason to return.
Love MIXX…….. I eat at Mixx regularly and always enjoy the atmosphere, food, and the service. The waiters, staff, and bartenders are friendly and professional. The menu is always changing so there is something new and different each time we go. Several of us usually order different tapas portions and share them so we can get a taste of them all! And we do the same with the martinis…….so many to choose from. The food and drinks seem to get better each time we go!
AWESOME, Hip and Fun. Mixx is a great place. I sell real estate and I take all my clients there. It is small, and boisterous and lively. It has excellent food and an innovative menu that caters to a large group of tastes. The martini menu is creative, with many choices. I like the Garden Watermelon Mojitos…they are amazing. Burger night is fantastic. Gourmet burgers on fresh baked chibatta rolls. DELICIOUS. And if martinis are your thing, Wednesdays are half price martinis ( all night long ). Try the Strawberry Shake Martini and the Larry ( a pineapple-whipped cream flavored one ).
Mixx – Terrible Service, food over cooked, 2 plates came out cold, too loud couldnt even have a good conversation? His other restaurant Frog Pond has bad food &the service too.
