Burger Night, Mondays, was below the standards set at other Burger Nights elsewhere. I suppose the inch-thick burger might be a bargain, but the ground beef used was unseasoned and coarse, the toppings provided (you deck out your own burger) uninspired, and the bun so thin and small that there was no way to hold the burger after three bites. Ever try eating a burger that thick in just three bites? As for the accompanying fries, calling them limp is paying them a complement. There’s much better at other joints in town.
Overpriced & horrible service.. The Parrot used to be much better, but has been going downhill the past few years.
Great atmosphere but the service is terrible. Our waiter was clueless and the food marginal. All four in our group left most our food on the plate which should have clued the staff in but our waiter didn’t even ask how it was. Ok for drinks but I’d eat elsewhere. Updated: went for the Thursday nite $12.75 dinner special and had the surf and turf. The turf tasted like a grisly piece of shoe leather but the crab cake was excellent … One of the best at the beach.
Horrible. Don’t eat here. Service was slow, waiter had no clue. The food was mediocre but definitely not worth the excessive wait. Wait staff in General was rude, bumped into me multiple times.
Average food. Horrible service.I took my wife and two teenage kids. Food was OK once we got it. Twice it was delivered to the table next to us. My son ordered a Juicy Lucy and it came without cheese. Really??? Salsa and chips were delivered to the wrong table, after the customers ate a few chips the waiter tried to take it and give it to us. The table next to us saw this and left. We should have at that point.
Excellent. Fresh, excellent, local seafood. Nice atmosphere. This restaurant does not pretend to be something it is not. It is simply just quality food without any fuss.
The food was very delicious. The service was poor. Server brought a lime out in his hand. The refills were delayed and delivered half full as if someone took a few sips before bringing them to us. And for entertainment, there were lip singing guys in drag dancing.
