Great dinner!. Tasty mussels in a delightful broth accompanied by a great slice of grilled bread. Sensational rockfish, cooked perfectly, with a lentil salad. A great shrimp over grits [our grits were made without cheese; were creamy; and had a wonderful tomato saffron sauce. For dessert we shared a lemon bar covered with blueberries and blackberries. Shorebreak Lodge is a wonderful find for us. As full-time residents of Southern Delaware, we will be back, this week.
Another great meal at the Shorebreak lodge. Had the angus steak with a parm risotto. Service was great too! Highly recommend.
Excellent, unique food from appetizer through dessert. Service was equally wonderful. Kid-friendly (no kid menu so kids should be open to new flavors). Decor is underwhelming, but it adds to the laid back charm.
This place is a jewel. Fantastic! We had the last meal of our vacation here and it was wonderful – relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and good service. This was a fantastic choice to end our holiday. I would recommend it highly and we will be back on future vacations.
Fresh and Fabulous. Visited this restaurant over Easter weekend. Had a lovely roast chicken with a quinoa salad on the side. Both were very nicely done. Decent wine list and a small bar for after dinner drinks or coffee make this a pleasant break from the beach bar scene. Friendly, competent service, even off season is also a plus.
