Food good. Service terrible. Everyone who works there, except for the manager,seems miserable. The mostly young, female staff think they’re way too cool to be in the service industry. They had zero personality & were uninterested in their jobs. The lone bright spot was the manager, who was very professional & friendly. He stopped at each table and was the only one with any personality. Reviews say this place is kid friendly but it is far from it. If you have kids, take your biz elsewhere. You and your kids will thank me.
Good food at great price. We stop here every year when at the beach for 1/2 price burger night (mon). Weren’t disappointed as burgers were good as ever. Very tasty. Our waitress was great – we had a party of 12 and she was very attentive and efficient. The white chicken chili also a good choice. We will be back next year when we return to Rehoboth
Seemed inviting, saw good reviews and as we looked the menu, two patrons excited and when asked if they were pleased, they replied yes and we couldn’t go wrong. We were promptly seated and our server (825)quickly took our drink orders. The atmosphere was good, not too loud.a tasteless amount of TV s lined the bar. At about 9 pm the music was cranked up, an obscene selection of music was played and there were only three 20 somethings sitting @the bar. The only real adult staffer( 37+ guy ) was hanging with the kids, seemed inattentive to other bar patrons . I had planned on a cocktail drink w my wife after our meal but the sudden metamorphosis turned us off. Food was pretty good ( cowboy cut rib eye w real mash and creamed spinach, prime rib w mash & broccoli, the latter being simply steamed with no flavor. Good beer selection, would have otherwise liked to have stayed. The music was simply too loud, the bartender had no control. Suspect real manager was not there. Bread would of been nice. Good table service.
STAY AWAY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GAY!. My partner and I were discriminated against at the Summerhouse, because we were gay. I was so furious about it I sued them through the state’s Human Relations Commission and WON, Unanimously!I’ll never go to any of the Big Fish Restaurant Group restaurants, which includes the Summerhouse, Big Fish and now Salt Air.
Pass this one up.. Bad press and equally bad food.
We went for 1/2 price burger night. The burgers were nice and juicy & actually cook to our requested temperature. The goat cheese & mesculan salad was delicious. The ny strip steak was perfectly cooked and had a great charred flavor. Also the scallop & risotto appetizer was very good and cooked well. They also had a white chicken chili that was yummy. We will definately go back
This restaurant is our favorite when we are in town! The scallop appetizer is amazing! Shoestrings fries and crab cakes are excellent! We return every year and never disappointed!!!
