If I could give this place a -10 I would! It has the rudest owner I have ever experienced!!! I would not go back if the food was free!!! I would not advise my worst enemy to eat there!!!
If this was the only place to eat in Rehobeth beach Or Lewes area, I would starve first. The food is not too bad but the service and the owner should move to another country, and certainly not Italy. Very rude owner. After spilling 3 glasses of wine (tray) on us, he then tried to charge us for the spilt wine and replacement too! No comp for a ruined cashmere sweater and dress. Cheese is $2 extra!!!
Owner has a bad attitude. The owner refused to take a meal off the bill that wasn’t eaten! He yelled and screamed at me in a restaurant full of people. He threatened to call the police as I refused to pay for the dish That was sent back twice. I ordered the Salmon which came to me half raw! I sent it back and when the dish came back out it was so overlooked the it would have broken the plate glass window if thrown at it. I refused it again. The owner told me that Salmon is like beef, you need to order it the way you want it cooked… If that’s the case he should have asked how I wanted it cooked!! Save your money and go somewhere else!
I just ate here tonight and I seriously can’t beLIEVE some of the sub-par reviews about this place. Before reading on, be forewarned… most of these reviews are just wrong wrong wrong! The food is honestly some of the best Northern Italian-style food I have EVER had (sorry Nonna!). The prices are also MORE than reasonable. Try finding this quality in New York City for these prices. GOOD LUCK. If you don’t appreciate old-world Italian hospitality (Preshy is and OLD SCHOOL ITALIAN… and NOT MEAN) and delicious cuisine, then go eat at Grotto… and continue to be disappointed. If you think THAT’S Italian food then honestly… you don’t deserve to eat at Preshy’s. Arrivederci.
I was a little reluctant to go here because of all the bad reviews I read. However my mom and uncle had been there before and said it was great so I went with their opinions instead and I am glad I didn’t listen to the fools on here because it was delicious! Roberto was not mean at all. I went with seven people and the bill was very inexpensive. The portions were just right. I am an italian from NY who knows good Italian food and this was definitely good.
Stay away from this place, same experience with the owner taking order rude and condescending, meal was greasy 2.00 extra for tiny bit of store brand grated cheese owner did not let either of the 2 overworked waitresses ring up the bill. Worst of the worst
NEVER AGAIN!. The owner, who insists on waiting on tables, is a cocky, arrogant, ignorant, condescending, disrespectful ass! The food is OK at best and the meal is completely ruined by the antics of this moron. Don’t waste your time or money on this jerk.
