Authentic and cozy Thai restaurant. I did a take-out for beef with green curry (you can request to make it milder than usual) and I enjoyed this dish! I think the location and parking situation seem to be a bit of an issue because I don’t live near that area, but I would highly recommend this place if you like Thai cuisine like me.

I then had 118 do not remember the name. It was a chicken dish in a brown lemongrass sauce served with rice and veggies. I highly recommend

MOST AWESOME THAI IN WILMINGTON. I grew up in wilmington, and work 1 miles away from this restaurant. i’d never gone, because they previously weren’t open for lunch. today, i went, and had an orgasm in my mouth!!! was SOOOO FRIGGIN DELICIOUS AND FRESH. THE best thai food i’ve ever had! not the best surroundings, nor is the ambiance something to write about; but what a gem!!!!!! Dont need fancy surroundings, just amazing food, and great service. The owner and her husband are very sweet.
Best Thai in the city!. Of all the Thai places Wilmington has to offer (granted there aren’t many), Bangkok House is the best. The restaurant is not in a great part of town and the decor leaves something to be desired. The service is slow, which is why we usually call for take out. We typically wait 45 minutes from the time we call to the time we pick it up. It is so worth the wait. This place has the best chicken pad thai I’ve ever had. They also know how to do spice. My husband consistently comments on how the chicken thai basil makes him sweat and how much he loves it. If you like thai food and you live in the area, this place is a must go.
Decent food; nothing spectacular. SLOW service.
