Good Italian Ice & a decent Double Slice. Bernie’s is probably my favorite Italian Ice in Delaware. The flavors change daily, so just check the board for today’s flavors. But, you can always count on cherry and lemon. Lemon is my favorite. It is not too sweet or sour. It tastes like a frozen refreshingt lemonade. We try to stop at least once a year during the Italian Festival. The ice is good and the prices can’t be beat. A small is only $1.50. I have also had their double slice (pizza). It is OK pizza–not the best I’ve ever had, but a decent value. I think the double slice is around $2.75..so that is pretty cheap.
