A recent meal here proved to be very disappointing for all three diners in our party. All of our dishes-gnocchi, eggplant parm, and pasts primavera, were so bland and tasteless that none of finished our meal, even though we were ravenous when we sat down! Add to that the fact that the pasts was overcooked -a sin in any Italian eaterry! We will never go back there again.

Cafe Palermo may not look like much from the outside, but once you step inside you are greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere. The food tastes like it came right from your Italian grandmother’s kitchen. The flavors are irresistible (The chicken sorrento & the chicken monte rosa are 2 of my faves), the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!

Good Place in out of way location. A couple years ago, I dropped by Cafe Palermo to get pizza on my way home, and was surpised to find a restaurant in the back. This is a place nestled between a laundromat and Chinese take-out and a liquor store, next to Home Depot. I was expecting the worst, but decided to try it with my wife. Since then, my wife and sons have gone there regularly, and the food is always good. Not much in way of beer and wine selection (hope you like Peroni or Yuengling). The place is usually crowded with locals, who have managed to see beyond the pizza front.
