Meeeeehhhh…… The nights amuse bouche was pretense……and it went south faster than a DuPont snowbird. Overpriced, overstated and overdone was the nights fare, and I’ll let it go at that.
This restaurant is 80% gluten free, with no special menu, or minus the bread all other restaurants in Wilmington, De are not true gluten friendly, I live in downtown and have been to most of the so called gluten friendly and they are not even close unless you really like salad
Our favourite Wilmington restaurant, hands down. Consistently excellent service and delightful food.
Just Lovely. Excellent wine selections and ability to taste much. I love the small bites, so you have something light to eat along with the wine, or drop by to have a light meal. The food is excellent and the choices change periodically so you an never be bored. And the proprietors are delightful and make you feel like you are in their home.
Great wine, Good App,so-so fish. It was about 75% full – but room available for immediate seating (nice). The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful in regads to both menu selections and wine. He recommended Escargot. It was very good with a nice contrast with the excellent (fresh) sitake mushrooms included. The bread was so-so, a little hard and not memorable. The wine recommended was exactly a great fit for me food and preference. Now for the so-so part. I told them I am very particular on my fish, he recommended the salmon non the less. It was cooked ok, but had a bland taste and not up to the price the resturant charges. IMHO you can get equal or better fish at Red Lobster. Others had a much better experience with the meat items. If you go, ask for good bread and avoid the fish. The wine paring does make it up to a return visit.
Great good and ambience! The owners Meg and Tom are wonderful! I have been here many times and have never been disappointed by food or drink! Please check it out! Just my two cents, I travel weekly for work and this is one of my favorites!
