I noticed signs for Opa Opa a while ago but didn’t realize that they had opened for business until I saw reviews on Yelp. On first look, I’m impressed. The place is bright and clean, decorated in a Greek blue-and-white motif. Behind the counter, the staff was busy preparing various dishes for customers. I ordered the bifteki pita and like the place itself, the food was fresh and simple. Not overly drenched in sauce. A delight for lunch.The downsides to this place are common to all eateries in Trolley Square. They only have three tables inside. There is some outside seating but it’s not really great unless the weather is good. Also, parking in this strip mall can be a problem during the lunch rush. So I think it may be a good idea to call ahead and get the food for takeout instead.
