Taco Bell Mexican Grill & Bar. The food was definitely hit or miss. While the Arepas con Chorizo were pretty good, the Empanadas were surprisingly bad. Tamales were also decent but the rice was abysmal and the refried beans were bland. Our waitperson, Sarah, salvaged what would otherwise have been a bad meal. Two other people also waited on us and they had ZERO personality, I’m not sure what was worse between the two; the tossing of the plates on the table or their inability to respond when spoken to. Won’t be going back.

High Quality Food for a Great Price. This is one of the best restaurants in the Wilmington area. It is small but has a pleasant atmosphere that warms you up the minute you walk through the door. The menu itself is large and offers a variety of choices from appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and much more. The restaurant’s signature guacamole is prepared and served right by the table and can be a simple side or a full appetizer. Entrees, such as the Salmon, provide a wide variety of flavors from the mild fishy taste combined with the heat of a cilantro-jalapeno aioli is enough to give the dish a good kick but not enough to set your mouth on fire (Though there are dishes can if desired, the Fish Tacos in particular). Some items may seem expensive, but with the dish portions as big as they are it is actually fair deal. I highly recommend this restaurant for folks who are looking to try Mexican food for the first time or just a fun night out. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Still Good. The food quality seems to have tapered off some here – it is still good, but not the amazingly high quality for the price compared to when they first opened. That said, for the price you still get a very good meal and the drinks are great.
