I’ll eat here again. Per the prices, we were expecting a really nice meal but were underwhelmed with final product. It’s a fun place to enjoy a beer and eat some food while you’re there. We’ve been twice now, and I am sure we will go there many times again, but it could use a critical eye (mouth) to sharpen the menu. If you’re a chef reading this at Washington Street–the risotto was dry (not hard to make a great risotto, for those prices, there better be some more cheese in there) and needed some pizzaz. The scallops were actually really nice. Perfectly seared and well seasoned, but the rest needs some work. Sit down and eat it all together–it’s like you took a risotto idea and said it might work with some scallops, but it didn’t quite compliment one another. All in all, it is a fun place with better than average pub fare–I’ll be generous–for being new to the game, it is much better than average pub fare. 🙂 We’re thrilled there are places to walk to from the downtown area and really impressed with a great first effort! For a great night out with a nice beer selection and sophisticated yet energetic and youthful vibe, this is the place to be. I look forward to watching the chef and kitchen staff grow!

Just Ok. Attended as a group on business travel. Calamari was disappointing — about 50% the whole fried creatures rather than the rings. Crab soup was disappointing – skimpy on the crab and very salty. Ribs were very good, salmon was excellent. Beer selection was impressive; however two fo the three I attempted to order were out.

Rack of ribs was great! 90 min IPA was also great. Great casual dining. Fun night out. Will definitely return.

This place has a great selection of local and regional brews; a must try is the Dogfish Head 90 Minute. Cannot ho wrong with one of their burgers. Great little neighborhood alehouse!

Great Food, Great Company, Can Be a Little Loud. Nice gathering spot and the food is uniformly great. Incredible beer list and the service is very competent. If you are there on a game day you may not be able to hear your conversations. If you haven’t tried it, they have a nice Sunday brunch too.

Try the Hummus.. Quite a variety of food that’s nicely prepared. Nice ambiance. Pretty standard variety of beers for an ale house.
