Long wait even with about a third of the tables empty. Service was impersonal. Some disconnect between what server said and what the kitchen delivered and she didn’t come around in a timely manner to make sure we had what we needed. When she did show up she apologized for long delay then took another long delay in fixing the problems (extra plate for a shared meal, au jus for prime rib, catsup for fries, beverage refill).Food came out crazy fast like it was prefabricated but was reasonably good. Might return but not in a huge hurry.
BJ’s is a great place when everyone can’t agree on what they want to eat. Great for large parties and all the booths are large. Their deep dish pizza, burgers and salads are huge and delicious. If there is a long wait, which is common, sit the bar area and there is usually a booth or high table available. In that section, you don’t even have to wait to be seated. Just walk straight to your right hand side and sit. Staff is always quick to serve.
