Very good. We were very happy, until we found better Mexican, just a few miles away, comparable prices, better menu and food.Nothing disappointing for us at La Fiesta. Casual atmosphere and family oriented, other place is more of a college crowd. Excellent service, fresh food. Just off I75 and that is their advantage.Much better than we were used to up north.
Good lunch. We stopped in for lunch on our trip home. Good food, quick service, and good prices.
Slightly better than average. First time eating here and new to the area. Keep in mind we are used to very very good authentic Mexican food. The service was pretty good and the food was okay depending on what you got. The fried taquitos appetizer was excellent. Grade A. Rice was good. Grade B-. Salsas were very average. Grade C. I was told the chimichanga was very good. Grade B. Same with the tacos. Also grade B. Southwest chicken wrap was average. Grade C. Margaritas were terrible. The regular margarita was extremely sour and the frozen strawberry margarita tasted like it didn’t have a single shot of tequila in it. Grade F. I would go back but not before exploring other options first. Overall experience I would grade between a B- and a C.
I ordered a burrito (beef and bean), taco and a cheese enchilada. WORST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN! You’re better off going to Taco Bell. Burrito had no sauce on it, was bland and had probably 80% beans. Taco was horrible. Again bland meat and very little cheese (How hard if it to mess up a taco???). Cheese enchilada had chopped onions mixed in with the cheese…horrible. I’ll never go here again.
Top Notch on 75. Decided to stop for lunch and I’m so glad we did. (The way to enter the parking lot is a bit odd in that you have to sorta travel down an alley behind some other places once you get off the main road.) I didn’t think I was very hungry going in but once I started eating, it was hard to stop. EVERYTHING we got tasted so good. Even the two types of salsa they give you are great. My picky son loved the cheese dip and taco. UF is lucky to have such a great place to enjoy Mexican food.
