Amazing.. I am in love with this food. My fianc took me to eat at Maui when we came to florida to visit his mom. I love that sauce. They need to bottle and sell that stuff. I’d buy gallons since we live up north.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I always get the Daily Special with white meat and brown rice. Never had a ba. Experience, and it comes hot and freshly prepared every time.
This is one of my memories of living in Gainesville. When I think of the tastes I remember from living here, Maui Teriyaki is definitely in the top 3. Came back yesterday for the 2nd time in 6 years, and re-hit MT. Damn, are the medium sized bowls bigger than they used to be?! It’s huge! And totally what I needed. Don’t forget to get an egg roll too, because they are unique and awesome! I wish they still had their Sweet and Sour sauce, alas, no more. Perrrfect with the egg rolls. Mmmmm. Reminds me of Gainesville.
The one on 75th and the one on Archer are different. Archer is sooooooo much better. I know the owners. If you want GOOD food go to the aecher one. I mean it.
Don’t Miss Eating @ Maui. Like the other reviewer said, it is a Gainesville institution. This is a don’t miss.Fresh, great taste and the price is right.A must eat at Gainesville place
It was a dark night in gainesville, the sweat was still drying on our backs from the run before, anxious for the night to begin again. we stumble into maui teriyaki, squinting our eyes to adjust to the lights. a girl no more than 15 stands at the cashier silently waiting for our order. of course we order the chicken teriyaki bowl. it came out fresh and hot from the chicken, still steaming, accompanied by carrots and veggies. delicious indeed with a dose of teriyaki sauce. tastychomps.com
