My experience with the restaurants management and their food was a disappointing one. I ordered food to go and picked it up around 6:22pm and by the time I got home, got together to eat, almost an hour had gone by. My order consisted of a large cheese pizza, greek salad and two orders of Pasta Alfredo with Chicken. Everyone in my family complained and did not eat the pasta. The pasta was greasy and no one wanted to eat it. I decided to contact the restaurant at around 8pm to notify the management about the mishap and to my surprise the manager had no resolution for me. The Manager named Andrew, stated that I had called too late after picking up the food to complain about the food an/or return the pasta and that the food was stale by now. I am not sure if he expects people to eat their to go food in the car on the way home in order to know if they need to complain or not. Also why would he even mention the fact that the food was stale. Was he thinking about reselling the food??? I have been a customer for many years and the service and quality of the food has diminished in a major way. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED.
What happened to Milanos. My wife and I started getting takeout from Milano’s several years ago. The subs were hearty and tasty. In the last two years the price has gone up a few times and the quality has gone down. We stopped giving them our business for awhile but, tonight I had a taste for soup and their pasta fagioli was the greatest. Tonight my wife had chicken soup that looked and tasted like it came from a can . My pasta fagolio was watered down with hardly any pasta or beans. Well that’s it for us. Shame now we have to travel out of Avalon.
Owner’s customer service is the WORST!!. Ordered a $75.00 delivery which took quite a bit longer than the quoted time. Ordered a veggie pizza as two of us are vegetarians and it came with meat on it. Called to ask for a refund for the one pizza and the manager at first refused. After a long discussion, he agreed but said he was sending his driver back for the pizza! Now, what were they going to with that pizza? Gave pizza back and NO REFUND! Well, now he’s going to lose out on $75.00 because we will now dispute the charge. Some people just do not know how to run a business!
Going Downhill. I agree with the reviews below – the new owner is killing this place. Had a pizza last night that looked and tasted reheated. They also took away the $5 beer pitchers during football. Going to start looking for a new place.
Usually food is good. Took large group in recently before TChS football game. Literally my friends were kind enough to stay and settle checks with the flustered waitress. They missed 1st Q and arrived at almost 1/2 time! Ordered two slices, a small Caesar and 1 beer while I waited they charged me $20! I think I’m done.
You lost many weekly customers!. I am one of about 7 teachers on one grade level that orders from there weekly. Just about every week the order is messed up. If we order a white slice with spinach we get a plain slice and get charged for the toppings. If we order the same slice another week it comes with items not ordered on it. A salad without onions comes with onions. Just ridiculous!!! I went in to speak with manager over a week ago. A nice girl told me this would never have happened had she taken our orders instead of Kyle. She told me to write down my info for the manager who would call me back that night. Still waiting. Bye, bye Milano’s; we ordered from Little Anthony’s today-your loss!!!
They messed up part of an order to go. First it took 30 minutes longer then they said. When I went back to get new food after calling them. They said it wound be 12 minutes but waited. 30 minutes. Ruined the whole meal.
