Delicious Pizza but the worst service ever seen!!!!!. We went to seek an order in the area of the delivery and no one greeted us, and no one asked us all with a dog face! Bad, Super Bad service!!! We regret that very much by the owner, so many people who want to work and have these poorly educated there. And it’s not just us the we live, there are many people that we told him when he was talking about our truly disgusting …
Great food, horrible service!. This review is based on my second visit to Mulberry Street Bar & Grill in Avalon Park, FL. My fiancee’ and I have tried their delivery service before and loved it! So, we thought we would visit the restaurant for an even better experience. During my first visit, the food was as good as ever, but the service was mediocre at best. I figured the waitress was having a bad day that day and shrugged it off. Just last week, I visited again and was barely greeted by Scott, our waiter. He told us to sit wherever we want, so we did. He offered to start us off with a drink, so we look at the menu, and Scott responds by saying there is not much of a drink menu in a bad attitude. By then, I already wanted to say forget it and leave, but we gave him a chance. After waiting over 5 minutes for our drinks as he served others their Bud Light, he finally comes back with 3 drinks in his two hands and tells us to grab our drinks from his hand. Now I’m ready to just grab the check and go, but we still stayed anyway. A few minutes later, he passes by again to slam (no, I am not exaggerating) our plates down before checking on his apparently far bigger tipping customers outside. Our food arrives, thanks to another, much kinder waitress and we dig in. Scott checks up on us for a half-second on the way to fraternize with the drinking crowd outside. After asking for a box for our left over food, Scott brings us a box and the check. I lay down my credit card with ID, which he barely checked and proceeded to cash me out. In my opinion, he did not even deserve a tip, but still tried to take the high road and left a 20% tip before leaving the table. We get to the front door and I attempt to thank Scott and wish him a good night, only to be ignored on the way out the door. It’s this kind of experience that deters me from eating at this restaurant ever again. It’s a shame that their customer service is nowhere near as good as their food. I could see myself being a repeat customer. If you decide to visit this establishment, ask for any other waiter than Scott. Otherwise, you will probably end up serving yourself.
Really????. Wondering, is the ownership of this establishment is aware that the employees are calling last call at 10:45 PM during Thursday Night Football. I am currently sitting in Gators Dock side at 11:10 PM after being told 25 minutes ago that Mulberry Street at Avalon was closing and it was last call. I was shocked when I pulled in to purchase a couple of beers and a shot noting that the Colts, Titans game had 10:20 left in the 4th quarter. Staff was mopping and serving drinks in plastic cups obviously in a hurry to push out the 20-25 people sitting in the bar enjoying the game. Several of the patrons sitting at the bar were slamming their drinks in an attempt to order another so that they can meet this unreal expectation for a bar. I choose to leave and drive to Gators to finish this game and am enjoying my several beers watching this fabulous game which is about to go into overtime. My concern is that as local business owner, you struggles every day to survive and your bar tender has just lost a good 2 hours of sales from a bar of 20-25 people during a great football game because the staff wants to leave early. My expectations to go to a sports bar include being able to completely watch the game and enjoy my purchased cocktail with out pressure to get out in an unreasonable request. This is obviously to much to expect from your establishment. Sorry to say, I will bring my money and my patronage to another establishment that appreciates it’s customers.
Excellent Pizza. We found this place by accident on the way to toys r us off of Alafaya Trail, Orlando. Best Pizza I have had in a long time. Crispy crust and fresh ingredients.
Not Happy. As i stared at my pizza getting cold for 10 minutes, waiting to pay for my takeout, i was struck by the obvious lack of management, at this moment i wanted to just leave… I should of. Pizza on initial glance looked apealing but lacked any flavor or sauce- garlic rolls appeared to be store bought and covered with garlic. Overall I just expected and hoped for more… i will not be going back.
