Great Food Along With Great Customer Service. I have been going to New York Sub Express since it opened up in November of 2010. They have great meats and cheese (Boar’s Head Brand) MY FAVORITE!The daughter, Laura, always makes my Queens Italian just the way I like it. She even melts me provolone cheese on the side so I can eat some melted cheese too!The store is a small family owned business and I love the atmosphere! The drink selection is great! I love that they have Gold Peak Tea because you cannot just find it anywhere!I recently moved and I cannot wait to get back to Orlando to get a Queens Italian from there with my Gold Peak Tea!Great Job You Guys! Keep It Up And You Have My Support!
I just moved from Manhattan and I was looking for a good nyc place. Great bagel with egg and cheese. She also let me try the meatball and it was plump and juicy. I look forward to going back soon.
Giving NY A Bad Name. Born and raised in NY, I went out of my way to go to this place but living in NY all those year I never had a lettuce hero! That’s basically what I got when I ordered a hero, two slices of roast beef and ONE slice of cheese cut in half, I thought it was a joke. If I wasn’t already to my house when I opened it I would have brought it back. This place is nothing like NY and wish they would change their name.
Good subs, terrible location. The sub was fantastic, but how can you only have pre-mixed cooked onions with peppers? Raw onion and peppers are not my thing. Also, the location has no parking being next to the DMV.On the positive side the bread was amazing and toasted and the sub was huge and tasty. Those two drawbacks aren’t deal breakers, I’d go back. But I don’t know if they will survive without parking.
Any Close and it’s be Jersey City. Their tagline stays true, this place is amazing and KNOWS New York food. Lynn and Laura are a mother-daughter duo that have taken great food and are pairing it with a hope to bring the New York life to Orlando. They start by having everything imported down here, meaning New York water in everything, which any New Yorker will tell you makes everything better. Then you throw in the Boar’s head meats and you’re really cooking. Be sure to try the Philly Cheesesteak, yes it sounds like it’s not really a NY thing, but it’s hands down the most delicious thing on the menu. But don’t think everything else is any slouch. We went in the other day to get a sandwich and walked out with our sandwiches, hot dog, drinks and a sampling of their meatballs, the chili, the potato salad *amazing btw*, tuna salad and the famous cheesesteak. Can’t wait to go back to try the Bronx bagels. Thank you Lynn & Laura for bringing the big city taste to Orlando.
