No longer worth it. For 10 years this was one of my favorite restaurants in our Waterford area. Not anymore. Last 2 meals there were bad beyond belief. LESS THAN 1/2 the meat portions as in the past for the same menu items, soggy salads, old veggies that should have made their way to the trash a week ago. I can’t believe I actually went there twice to learn my lesson. Never again, what a shame, it used to be an amazing restaurant.
So long farewell !!!!. Stopped by for breakfast, waited , waited and waited for our server! Restaurant was not busy! Server took our order . I had hash and eggs over MEDIUM. After waiting, waiting, and waiting,we watched people after we came in receive their order! The server said , our meals would be out shortly. Finally we got our meals. My eggs were way under cooked!! I waited , waited, and waited for our server to return. Finally my husband flagged him down. He offered to replace them in 3 minutes!! By this time my husband had finished his breakfast and mine arrived for the second time. This time eggs were overlooked and crispy, hash was gross!! Don’t waste your time or money!!!!!! Is it asking to much for timely service ,a pleasant server and a cook that knows how to cook an egg properly? I use to really like Toojays, but l will not return again!!!!!
Come here often for breakfast and some for lunch, both meals always great, awesome service. Truly recommend this place!
Good food but bad service at the Waterford location! It took forever for the waiter to take our order and had to wait forever for the food get served to us. And it didn’t even seem busy because it was 2pm after lunchtime!
Too Bad. Too Jays was once one of my favorite places to eat.at Waterford Lakes. We dined there often with our family, grandchildren and friends. Our last 2 visits (both on Sunday evenings) have been awful. Service was slow, but we were hopeful until I found a twistie in my mouth that was mixed in the brisket. I spit it out , put it on the bread plate ( My husband asked it was onion) No. The waitress took it to the manager who arrived at the table laughing????? Funny? No. He offered us free desert’s ???This place needs new management pronto .
This is the worst restaurant in waterfordlakes. Food is ok but the service is horrible don’t waste your time. We tried them 5 times already nothing changed…. Sorry this place is typical come and go type restaurant they don’t care about the rest. If you take their sign down they will go out of bussiness in a month
The sandwiches are fantastic and the fries are good too. There are a bunch of other sides to chose from if you don’t want fries. The menu is extensive and the service is usually pretty good. Try the Reuben!
