Very good food… Large portions… Chicken Parmesan with pasta is wonderful… Chicken Gorgonzola everything was great except for the chicken part…. A little bland. You can get a box of the Italian cookies all the way from New York. The price point that is listed is a bit off…both of our entres were between 15 and $20 each. Getting a table seems to be simple… It is very large.
Almost PERFECT!. So the food is GREAT! Pizza is in the TOP 3 of Orlando for my taste. So what would make this a perfect place for me … DELIVERY. I would so use them more if I did not have to drive over. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed in any menu order. BTW: The Tiramisu is the BEST in town!
Great pizza and calzone. Everything is good. I personally enjoy the Roma and White pizza, but you really cant eat more than a slice of each because they are both so decadent. Everything on the menu is enjoyable (except for once lacking experience with a chicken marsala, but everyone has their off days). Yes everything is a bit pricey, its a nice once in a while indulgence. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. And if you visit the place as much as I do, the staff knows you by name.
Wow, great pizza. Well may have been that I was starving but a neighbor brought up half a large pie she could not eat and it was FANTASTIC. This was my first taste ever of Caffe’ Positano and I am normally a fan of chicago or Cincinnati style pizzas (pan and thick sauce) and not a fan of NY style (because sauce is usually watery and barely there causing cheese to over power pizza and make it too dry) but this pizza was awesome! The cheese is very good quality and the Hand tossed dough is a crap ton better than Broadway Resturante’ (used to work there). The spice/seasoning on the cheese pie was very good also and the sauce was still enough to keep the pizza nice and wet and flavorful unlike most Orlando NY pizza places sauces that are so thin the pizza is so dry with all the cheese. The cheese and sauce were in perfect ratio 🙂 Very pleased with the pizza and will most certainly make my next pizza order from Caffe’ Positano! Enjoy.
Overall, quite good.. 8 of us gathered at Positano last night (12/15/11) and everybody was pleased with the food quality and service. My chicken marsala was very good. I tried Sharon’s pizza and it’s as good as any pizza in Orlando. Sharon liked my pasta fagioli. Only complaint: we sat near the ‘singer.’ He was short on talent, yet loud!
We love it! Been regular customers for over 10 years. Always consistent in great food, good service. Appreciate Pascuale’s personally greeting patrons & the friendly, efficient staff. We go no where else for Italian – or rather a touch of Positano!!
Love their calzone! It’s the bomb! And there pizza and ziti are good too! Good customer service as well
