Confidently say this location has gone down hill, after a 20 plus year run Mr Chow needs to fire a lot of front staff and the older chefs especially WAWA he’s the most argumentative and arrogant and the worst and the front staff needs to be trained on customer service. They completely messed up our order three times in one meal, and then when it was finally ready it didn’t live up to the taste I’ve grown accustomed to for over 20 plus years! Sad to say this experience has left me concerned and I won’t come back to this location. Im beyond sad that Altamonte is not as good as it used it be!
Had a great dinner last night. The performance from the chef was great. He made a snake egg. Very funny. Food tasted great as well. We shared a drink.
Don’t waste your money. Service is very slow and the food is only mediocre. The fried rice is actually awful. Normally it’s our favorite part of the meal at one of these places, we didn’t even eat it here.
Steak, Shrimp and Chicken. The best of all three worlds
Birthday reservation. I recently had a reservation for 8 at the Kobe on East Colonial. This is a newer restaurant that looks amazing inside. Food was great, however expensive for the amount of steak and seafood portions they cook. Combination plates are filling and the customer services was good, but could have been a bit better for the price. We did feel rushed from staff after our meal. They had 2 managers visit our table to inquire about our experience, one right after another. This was no doubt a strategy to move us along to fill the table again. They also started setting up new plates at our table. Very nice establishment and I would recommend this restaurant.
Not so ‘Happy Birthday’!. Went to the Longwood location last night to celebrate my twin daughters birthday. One of my daughters had left her postcard at home. Both had their drivers license with them which in the past was all that was required. Now you must belong to their club AND bring the postcard or they will only allow a $10 credit towards your ‘birthday meal. Didn’t believe the manager would let 3 full fare customers and 2 birthday girls who in the past visit Kobe 6-8 times a year, walk out the door over $10! We went to the Altamonte Ale House and had a great time. They even treated us ALL to a free desert! Now that’s service We will all be unsubscribing to Kobe. There are many SMART resteraunteers who want our business! Bye Bye Kobe!
