Kohinoor is probably the best Indian restaurant in the area. It is located inside a commercial complex. Shared parking is ample, although the Yoga studio customers next to it always pick up the prime parking spots. The establishment is cozy but little dim lit. I personally would prefer little more light. Service is nice and quick. They provide fried papad with 3 types of chutney. The onion chutney is out of this world. Green and tamarind chutney are also great. The veg appetizer plate gives a good insight on all what is on the offer. Samosa is crispy and filling. Onion and chilli fritters are great too. All of the food is mostly North Indian (sauce/gravy based). My absolute favorite is Malai Kofta and Garlic Naan. Beware, their Indian hot/spicy level is hot even for true Indian tongues. If you are in the area and craving Indian food, it is must try place.

Every thing is good about this place. If you are vegetarian, go for their Malai Kofta and Paratha… You will never regret. It been 2.5 year and whenever I come from India that’s the place for me. Keep it up.

Great service and great food..Angela and Rees always make us feel like family when we eat here. My favorite is the lamb rogan josh and my wife loves the chicken biryani. We also always have to get the gulab jamun for dessert

What can I say about this place. It is the best Indian food I have had in town. It’s located in a little strip mall in Altamonte Springs. Started of with the vegetable samosa and it had great flavor and just a dash of heat which I loved. My entree was chicken curry with the heat index of hot and some garlic naan. The curry had great flavor and enough heat to clear out your sinuses. I love this dish and seem to get it every time. It’s even better the next day for lunch. The staff was attentive and friendly, they did forgot to bring the naan out with the meal tho. Other than than good service. This place has the WOW factor for me which keeps me coming back at least once a month.

Great food, great service! Our first time here has been a very positive experience! Had the butter chicken and lamb rogan josh in the dinner for two – great value, includes soup, app, two entrees and small dessert. The naan was text book perfect, both entrees delicious and flavourful. Will be stopping here again on our next visit to Orlando… This is a gem here in the city.

Delicious. My husband and I ate here tonight. The food was excellent. We had the samosas, butter chicken, and lamb madras. We will definitely go back.

Disrespectful Staff Member. There was one gentleman who was very rude to my girlfriend today. I went to get buffet and he came over to her and said some pretty terrible things. We have encountered him before. Awful person. The food is great! Avoid bald staff member!
