Couldn’t have asked for a better catered breakfast!. Local Yolk’l catered our wedding day breakfast for our outdoor wedding held at Dr. P. Phillips Community Park on 10/20/14. We had a group of 17 attendees including the bride and groom and we have to say that everyone was completely satisfied and satiated. Not only are the portion sizes generous, the food is excellent, cooked to order, and in the case of our catered event we could try several menu items at our set price for the event. Not only are the food offerings tasty and in some cases unique, but the staff that day were completely accommodating and went above and beyond. Breakfast is a unique offering among the burgeoning food truck craze and I would recommend that anyone who gets a chance check out Local Yolk’l!

Missing the concept. Local Yolk’l has a varied menu. Maybe too much so. It should probably be streamlined. Comfort foods should be quick to make and easy to prepare. That is why they are missing the point of being a food truck. People do not have time to wait 20 minutes for a waffle. Ordering the food is a dismal failure. They need to learn how to take several orders at once. Instead each order was taken, then they would disappear only to reappear 15 or 20 minutes later and take another order. By my estimation, they would be making about 25 dollars an hour as a business. All I wanted was a grilled cheese and then they could not prepare it because they were out of cheese. What? You are a breakfast truck. Many of your menu items include cheese and egg. Seriously?
